12.16 The HELP Function
Function
The HELP function can aid you in situations in which you need clear
instructions before you can continue (for example, to retract the tool
after an interruption of power). The miscellaneous functions may also
be explained in a help file.
The TNC 426, TNC 430 offers several help files, which you can select
by means of the file management. The figure at upper right shows the
screen display of a help file on the TNC 426, TNC 430.

To select the MOD function, press the MOD key.

Select the HELP function with the HELP soft key.

On the TNC 426, TNC 430, call the file manager (PGM
MGT key) and select a different help file, if necessary.

Use the up and down arrow keys to select a line in the
HELP file, which is marked with an #.

Use the NC start key to execute the selected HELP
function.
The HELP function is not available on every machine. Your
machine tool builder can provide you with further
information on this feature.
