Configuring, Compiling, and Publishing the TMV
Configuration
Before configuring the TMV board, you will need to know the following
information:
•
The Trinix Router frame type.
•
The channels used for Discrete audio.
•
The PC’s IP address for the CNTL and FAC LAN.
•
The CNTL LAN IP address for all TMV boards.
•
The Destination names that correspond to the output range that the
TMV board is using.
•
The IP address of the control system device. (The TMV will communi-
cate with this device using Native Protocol.)
Note
You may see an error if you compile and publish a configuration then imme-
diately try to compile and publish the same configuration again. This error is
because the file is in use.
The following sections describe the steps needed to configure the TMV
board. After the board has been configured, this information must be com-
piled and published.
Configuration Overview
In general terms, the steps that you need to do are:
1.
Enter the Board information on the Hardware tab.
2.
Retrieve the router data from the Router Information/Configuration
Tables tab.
3.
Configure the Video Destinations table (mandatory table) from the
Router Information/Configuration Tables tab.
4.
Organize your monitor wall layout on the Layout tab.
5.
Configure optional tables (Source Alias, Destination Monitoring, etc)
from the Router Information/Configuration Tables tab.
6.
Compile Publish the configuration table.
