Show Z Order
: Selecting this menu option will show the layers numbered
in order to display information about the video in a tile “group.” For
example, the bottom layer in a group is a tile that is numbered zero (“0”).
The next layer is Audio bar (1), Text box (2), and then clocks (3). You cannot
move a Text box behind an Audio bar.
Click the monitor to turn off the displayed order. See Show Z Order
for more information
Show Router Destinations
: Selecting this menu option will show the two
available options either automatic or manual.
Tools Menu
Allocate Resource
: Selecting the
Allocate Resource
menu option will opti-
mize or allow you to assign resources to scalars and outputs.
Note
The configuration must be saved before you can use the Allocate Resource
menu option. If you try to Allocate Resources with an Untitled configuration,
an alert will appear telling you to save the configuration first.
Automatic
: Selecting the
Automatic
option will allow the system to use
the resources in the most efficient manner. The Allocate Resources dialog
will appear when resources have been allocated (
).

Resource allocation may be seen by right-clicking the Monitor in the
navigation panel and selecting the Show Resources option (
or using the context menu of the monitor. You will need to select to
show either the automatic or manual resources.
