Adding a Monitor
Adding a Monitor
The Multiviewer will display multiple video signals, which may be used
for picture presence monitoring on monitors. A monitor must be added to
display this information. These instructions assume that you have selected
the
Layout
tab. A frame node called “TrinixFrame” is added under the “Unti-
tled” root node by default.
Follow these steps to add a monitor:
1.
Right click the Trinixframe item under the Untitled root node and select
the
Add a system
option to add a system. A node called
System1
will
appear.

Right-click on the System node under the Trinixframe item and select
the
Add a Wall
option. A node called
MonitorWall1
will appear. The wall
properties are displayed in the Properties panel (

Click the
Toolbox
tab and then click the Monitor icon.

Double-click the Monitor icon. A monitor should be added to the Wall
in the Design panel.
If there are monitors on the wall already, the new monitor will be placed at
the end of the monitors and on the right side.
A monitor tree node will be added to the Navigation panel when a monitor
is added. The monitor can be selected by clicking on the tree node or by
clicking the monitor itself.
