Note
Grass Valley does not recommend using the 720p/50, 720p/59.94, 1080p/50,
and 1080p/59.94 tri-level sync reference types. These types have two-frame
alignment ambiguity with video streams that have half the reference frame
rate. The TMV board does support these types and user discretion is advised.
The SMPTE 425M-B Standard is Supported
The transmission of two non-3G/b signals (For example, HD-SDI) over a
3Gig-SDI link is supported in the TMV system.
For reference, SMPTE 425M is a standard that specifies the mapping of dif-
ferent video signals to the 3G physical interface as well as the supported
video formats.
•
The Level A variant refers to the carrying of a single high bit rate video
signal over a 3Gig-SDI link.
•
The Level B variant refers to the transmission of two lower bit rate
signals (For example, HD-SDI) over a 3Gig-SDI link.
Environmental Conditions
•
Temperature: 0 - 35 degrees Celsius (32 - 95 degrees Fahrenheit).
•
Humidity: 10-90%, non-condensing.
Power Requirements
•
100 W (per module)
Electrical Parameters
TMV Electrical Length for a Monitor Output with N cascade stages
(0 <= N < 16): = 1 to 2 field periods of the interlaced reference input, plus
N*400/148.5MHz, plus one output video line period (for interlaced
outputs only);
TMV Reference Input Frequency Tolerance
+/-50ppm.
TMV Video input Frequency Tolerance
+/-50ppm.
