Selecting this icon will copy the color type of the primary item’s back-
ground/foreground to all other selected items that are the same type as the
primary item.
Note This copy checks for item type because not all item types have background/
foreground properties.
Follow these steps to copy the properties:
1. Select the preferred items. In the example below ( Figure 149 ), the
background is red.
2. Click the Copy Background/Foreground Properties icon. The properties are
copied ( Figure 149 ).

Export Item Group Template

Selecting this icon saves the settings for many items and creates an XML file
that you can import and later add to the monitor.
Follow these steps to export the template:
1. Click the Export Item Group Template icon. A Windows Save as dialog will
then appear.
2. Browse to a preferred location or leave the default.
3. Enter a name in the File name field.
4. Click the Save button
A dialog informing you that the template was saved will appear.
