Understanding the Timeline and Source Tools
Editing in the Timeline involves using both the Timeline Tool and the Source
Tool.
The Timeline Tool
The Timeline Tool opens when you create a new sequence. It is the tool you use
to select clips, mark in and out points, and play sequences.
To use the Timeline Tool, press 1 on your keyboard or click the Timeline Tool
button in the Timeline Toolbar.
