Using Title Templates
NewsEdit includes several sample templates that you can modify, which you
can find in the Templates drop-down list. By default, the templates list displays
files located in the
C:\LyricDemo
directory.
If you create additional title templates (in .lyr format) that you wish to appear
in the Templates list, place them in the samples directory or configure
NewsEdit to use a different directory; see “Setting Graphics Options” on page
324 for instructions.
To add a title to your sequence:
1. Make sure that your sequence has a graphics track; if not, you need to add it:
a. With the sequence open, click the
Sequence Properties
button on the
Timeline toolbar.
b. In the Sequence Properties window, check
Graphics Track
and click
OK
.
2. Select a template from the Template drop-down list.
The title template appears in the Viewing Window.
3. Make any changes to the title graphic.
The next section, Modifying a Template for Your Sequence, describes
changes you can make.
4. Add a title to your sequence using one of the following methods:
- Add a Mark In and Mark Out Point on the Timeline and click the
Copy to
Timeline
button—the title appears between the mark points; or
