Defining Your Video Effect
Each video effect definition consists of the effect type, the effect size and
position, options set for that effect, and any adjustments you make to the effect.
Choosing a Video Effect
After you add a blank effect to the Timeline, you choose the video effect to
create in your sequence.
To choose a video effect:
1. Press

on your keyboard or click the
Video Effects Tool
button on the
Timeline Toolbar.
2. Add a blank effect to the Timeline using the steps in the section “Adding an
Effect to the Timeline” on page 210.
3. Check the checkbox next to the effect you want to use.
4. Adjust the effect settings as necessary.
