Associating a Sequence with a NewsQ Pro Placeholder
If you create a clip or sequence on NewsEdit for a specific placeholder in
NewsQ Pro, you need to send it back to a playout Media Server so it can be
played to air.
To send a sequence and associate it with a NewsQ Pro placeholder:
1. Select the completed sequence in the NewsEdit Bin.
If you have the completed sequence open in NewsEdit, it is already selected.
2. Press F2 on the keyboard or click the Send to File button in the toolbar.
The Send To Selected Destinations window appears, displaying the list of
open NewsQ Pro placeholders.
3. Select the placeholder to assign to your completed sequence.
NOTE: If the list
of placeholders is
grayed out, it means
that you haven’t
selected that send
location as a News Q Pro
send destination.
