Setting Up a Workgroup
Before a NewsEdit workstation can pull media from other NewsEdit
workstations, you need to set up a workgroup.
To set up a workgroup:
1. Verify that your Share Name matches the folder name you configured for
Default Bins on the General Tab.
If your Default Bins folder has a different name than
VibrintAVFiles
, change
it by typing the name in the Share Name field.
2. Click
Update Workgroup List
.
The system lists the available machines for file import or export.
3. Click
OK
.

to the video source’s connection to NewsEdit.
If you are using the Pro Digital/Analog Breakout Box,
the Component Y output defaults to a second
composite output unless you select

SDI Embedded

SPDIF
Select the Audio Connection option that corresponds
to the audio source’s connection to NewsEdit.
Video Output to VGA
Composite

Select the Video Output type for your VGA card.
