10.8 Converter Failure Alarm
When one or more of the following converter errors occur in a self-diagnostics sequence, an alarm
signal can be output. See Chapter 12, “Self-Diagnostics and Warning Functions” for details of each
alarm status.

If you want to use a converter error alarm output, set digital output 1 or 2 (DOl or D02) to the
error alarm output of the converter following 0, “Digital Input/Output.”
In addition, set the alarm output condition to normally open (NORMAL OPEN) or normally
close (NORMAL CLOSE) status.
Output conditions
• Normal Open; transistor / relay contact is closed when an error occurs.
• Normal Close; transistor/relay contact is open when an error occurs.
Note: Alarm output contacts are open while the converter is powered off.
