12.2 telnet connection
The term "telnet" refers to a method used for the connection with a host. In this way it is
possible to operate a connected remote computer via the command line interface.
12.2.1 Settings of the web-based parameterisation
The telnet settings can be configured via codes 180 to 181 via the Remote maintenance
button of the web-based parameterisation.
 Code 180 activates authentication of the telnet user,
 Code 181 activates the telnet access to the Industrial PC.
12.2.2 Settings in the »Engineer«
The telnet settings can be changed via codes 180 to 181 in the »Engineer«.
 Code 180 activates authentication of the telnet user,
 Code 181 activates the telnet access to the IPC.

