SET VRRP
Syntax
set vrrp=
vrid
[adinterval=1...255]
[authentication=none|plaintext] [password=
password
]
[portnomitoring=on|off] [portreset=on|off] [preempt=on|off]
[priority=1..254] [stepvalue=1..254|proportional]
[delay=0..3600]
Parameters
vrrp
Specifies the ID of the virtual router, a number
between 1 and 255.
adinterval
Specifies the interval in seconds between
advertisement packets. The range is 1 to 255
seconds and the default is 1 second. You must
configure all switches in the same virtual router with
the same adinterval.
authentication
Specifies whether there is password protection.
Options are:
none
Specifies no password protection. This is
the default setting.
plaintext
Specifies that a password is required,
which you set with the password
parameter.
password
Specifies the password used to authenticate VRRP
packets. The password can be up to 16 alphanumeric
characters. The password is case sensitive and can
include the hyphen and underscore.
Passwords are sent in plaintext. The AT-S63
Management Software does not support encrypted
passwords.
You must configure all switches in the same virtual
router with the same password.
portmonitoring
Specifies whether the VRRP should monitor the ports
of the VLAN and alter the priority value if ports fail or
are disabled. The options are:
on
Specifies that port monitoring should be
on.
