Marking and Selecting Techniques

6.4.1.

Moving the Nowline in the Timeline

You move in the timeline by placing the nowline at the requested position.

To move the nowline or change its position, the following actions are possible:

To move the nowline …

Do the following:

to a specific position within
an element

•

Left-click the mouse in the Timecode bar at the
position where you want to place the nowline.

Select the nowline by left-clicking the mouse in the
Timecode bar at the nowline position and drag it to the
requested position

One second before the last
editing point

Press the

key.

to the beginning of the
timeline

Press the

key

to the end of the timeline

Press the

key.

to the next transition
(compared to the current
position)

Press the

key.

to the previous transition
(compared to the current
position)

Press the

key.

to the mark IN point

Press the

key.

to the mark OUT point
