The following example describes how to configure the Gigabit Ethernet port 1/2 to a 802.1Q
trunk port for VLANs ‘ vlan1 ’ and ‘ vlan2 ’:
# configure terminal
(config)# vlan id 2 port gigabitethernet 1/2
(config)# dot1q port gigabitethernet 1/2 tag 1-2
(config)# end
# show dot1q
