Silicon rectifier and brushless DC motor drive
are connected to the same power. Switching spikes will be generated when the
silicon rectifier switches on/off. These spikes
may damage the mains circuit.

For the applications that power capacity is
more than 10 times of power capacity of
brushless DC motor drive. When the mains power capacity is too large,
line impedance will be small and the charge
current will be too high. This may damage
brushless DC motor drive due to higher
rectifier temperature.
