Real-Time View Options
There are two real-time map view options: North Up and Course on Ground (COG). Swath XL software versions
prior to 3.00 employ the North Up view only. These options are selectable via buttons in the real-time page button
bar.
North Up View
In the North Up view option, North is always towards the top of the display, see Figure 3-51.
The Map Field Boundary On button. When this button is displayed, the field boundary
is being mapped and stored to file. When pressed, this button changes to the Map Field
Boundary Off button.
The Map Field Boundary Off button. When this button is displayed, the field boundary
is not being mapped. When pressed, this button changes to the Map Field Boundary On
button.
The Point button. This is the point map object. When pressed, a point is placed at the
vehicle location. This button is a result of the Data Setup - Map Object menu item.
The Hazard button. This is the hazard map object. When pressed, a hazard is placed at
the vehicle location. This button is a result of the Data Setup - Map Object menu item.
The North Up View button. This view page display option, keeps North pointing to the
top of the view page. When pressed, this button changes to the COG View button.
The Course on Ground (COG) View button. This view page option, keeps the vehicle
stationary in the view page with the heading (course) of the vehicle pointing to the top
of the view page. When pressed, this button changes to the North Up View button.
The Full Screen button. When pressed, the entire view page space is replaced by the
map window. This is useful when you want to see more of the vehicle trajectory. Press
to return to the normal view page.
