Sample Name
The Sample Name menu field allows you to setup a unique sample name. If the Sample Name menu item is set to
YES, you are prompted for a new sample name each time a new sample point is added. If set to AUTO you are not be
prompted to enter a new sample name each time a new sample is added. You are prompted for the sample name at the
start of the Nav 2 Point real-time process. If the Off menu item is selected, then no sample name is added to any new
sample points.
To change the Sample Name setting: highlight the Sample Name menu item and press . The Sample Name dialog
box appears. Select the desired setting using the arrow keys . Once the desired setting is selected, press to
return to the Data setup menu, see Figure 4 -9.

Setting Description
Off A sample name is not added to any new sample points.
Yes You are prompted for a new sample name each time you mark a sample point.
Auto The same sample name is used for each new sample point. Enter sample name
at start up.
