Communications Setup
The Communications Setup menu defines the Smartpad GPS serial port parameters. There are four menu items asso-
ciated with this menu page, Baud rate, Data Bits, Stop Bits, and Parity, see Table 2-7.
To access the Communications menu page, highlight the Setup menu item in the Main menu page and press . This
takes you to the Setup menu page, see Figure 2-19 (right side). Within the Setup Menu select the Communications
menu item using the arrow keys . Press to enter the Communications menu page. Once in the Communi-
cations menu page, you can change any of the Communications menu items by highlighting the desired menu item
and pressing .
