Real-Time View Options
There are two real-time view options; North Up and Course on Ground (COG). Swath XL Versions prior to 3.00
employ the North Up view only. These two view page options are selectable in real-time page, using the appropriate
button located in the button bar in the real-time view page.
North Up View
In the North Up view option, North is always towards the top of the display, see Figure 4 -23.
The Exit button. When pressed the Nav 2 Point software exits out of the real-time pro-
cess and return to the Main Menu page. Pressing the
key automatically highlights
this button.
The Information button. When this button is highlighted, information is displayed in
the Information Window.
The Locked Information button. When this button is displayed, it means that the Infor-
mation Button was pressed. Information stays displayed in the Information Window
while you move to other buttons in the button bar.
The Map Field Boundary On button. When this button is displayed, the field boundary
is being mapped and stored to file. When pressed this button changes to the Map Field
Boundary Off button.
The Map Field Boundary Off button. When this button is displayed, the field boundary
is not being mapped. When pressed this button changes to the Map Field Boundary On
button.
The Full Screen button. When pressed the entire view page space is replaced by the
map window. This is useful when you want to see more detail of the view page. Press
to return to the normal view page.
North Up View Button. When pressed the display view switches into the North Up
view mode. In this mode North is always pointing to the top of the display. Once this
button is pressed, it changes to the COG View Button.
COG View Button. When pressed, the display view switches to the Course on Ground
view mode. In this mode, the vehicle remains stationary in the center of the display and
the map moves and rotates below the vehicle. Once this button is pressed, it changes to
the North Up View Button.
