Startup of Standard Design
Setting bit 8 in the control word allows the brake to be released under the following con-
ditions:

Setpoint selection in terminal operation depends on status of terminal f1/f2:
Behavior with a
non-operating unit
In case of a non-operating unit, the brake is always applied independent of the setting
of terminal f1/f2 or bit 8 in the control word.

The yellow LED display flashes periodically and quickly (t

= 100 ms : 300 ms) if
the brake was released for manual procedure. This applies to terminal operation as well
as bus operation.
