Safety bus
The safety module provides parameterisable interfaces for standardised safety bus systems. By
selecting the bus system, the corresponding parameters are made available.
Short overview of "Safety bus" parameter group:
S-bus: configuration
Selection of the safety bus system used. Communication modes that are currently being supported:
• Operation without safety bus
• Operation with PROFIsafe protocol via PROFIBUS
• Operation with PROFIsafe protocol via PROFINET
S bus: Filter control data
Unused functions in the control data of the safety bus must be set to "Inhibit" via this parameter.
Then, these functions cannot be activated anymore via the safety bus independently of the
transmitted control data.
