EXAMPLES

In the following example, the

admitrcopyvv

command adds the volume

vv1

to the primary

volume group

Group1

. At the same time, it adds the volume on the target system

InServ1_in

to the corresponding secondary volume group

Group1.r

that was

previously created by issuing the

creatercopygroup

command:

NOTES

A secondary volume mapping must be provided for each target in the group.

■

If a group’s target has the

mirror_config

policy set and the group is a primary group,

then this command is mirrored to that target and the volume is added to the secondary

volume group. If the policy is set and the group is a secondary, this command fails.

■

For multiple target Remote Copy groups, in addition to adding the primary/secondary

mapping on the target systems, the relevant mapping between the target systems will be

added to the backup groups.
