6.6. ERROR AND REMEDY

6.6.1. Display error

State Probable

cause

Nothing is displayed.

z Power supply is not turned on.
z Low power supply voltage
z Fuse is blown out.
z LCD error Ÿ Refer to “6.6.7. Remedying a hardware fault”.
z Reverse polarity of DC power supply

Upper side appears black.

z Low power supply voltage
z Reverse polarity of DC power supply
z LCD error Ÿ Refer to “6.6.7. Remedying a hardware fault”.

Irrational display

z Hardware error Ÿ Refer to “6.6.7. Remedying a hardware fault”.

Pale display

z Ambient temperature is low (-20qC or lower) Ÿ Increase temperature.
z LCD has reached the end of its service life. Ÿ Replace the LCD.

Entire display is blackish.

z Ambient temperature is high (50qC or higher) Ÿ Decrease temperature.

LCD characters are skipped.

LED does not come on

z Refer to “6.6.1.1. Checking the LCD/LED” for LCD/LED.

The dots on the LCD are missing or the LED does not come on.

Ÿ Refer to “6.6.7. Remedying a hardware fault”.

LED is displayed in red.

z Received wave is abnormal.

Ÿ Refer to “6.6.1.2. Checking the LED lit in red”.
