Getting Ready
Here’s how to adjust the volume of your keyboard playing or
the playback volume of an internal song or CD song.
If headphones are connected, use the [VOLUME] knob to
adjust the headphone volume.
1.
Turn the [VOLUME] knob to adjust the overall
volume.
Adjust the volume while you play the keyboard to produce
sound.

You can also use the remote control to adjust the volume.
Refer to “Button Functions” (p. 91).

Even if the [VOLUME] knob is raised, you won’t hear any
sound if the volume has been set to “0” using the
remote’s VOLUME [-] [+] buttons or if the [MUTE] button
was pressed.
When you’ve finished connecting USB memory to the USER
MEMORY connector, you’ll need to format the USB memory
so that it can be used as “user memory.”

Access the main screen.
* If you’re not at the main screen, press the [EXIT] button a
number of times until the main screen appears.

Touch < Menu >.
The Menu screen appears.

to switch
screens.

Touch < Format User Memory >.
A confirmation message appears.

* By touching < Cancel > you can return to the previous
screen without formatting.
