Settings
1.
Access the main screen.
* If the main screen is not shown, press the [EXIT] button until
the main screen appears.

Touch < Menu >.
The Menu screen appears.

The following screen appears.

To change the setting, touch
for the item
you want to specify.
If you touch < Reset >, all settings (parameters) shown in the
current screen will return to their factory-set values.

When you’re finished making settings, press the
[EXIT] button.
You can adjust the sensitivity of the D Beam controller.
The sensitivity of the D Beam controller can vary depending
on the brightness of the surroundings. If it does not operate
as you expect, please readjust the sensitivity.
You can assign a variety of functions to the left and center
pedals. You can call up the assigned functions just by
pressing the corresponding pedal.

Soft (left pedal only)
The pedal functions as a soft pedal (p. 29).
Sostenuto (center pedal only)
The pedal functions as a sostenuto pedal (p. 29).
Vocal Effect
If the [INPUT] button is not lit, the vocal effect will be
turned on/off.
If the [INPUT] button is lit, the guitar effect will be turned
on/off.
Play/Stop
Starts and stops playback of the song.
Lower Damper
When using Split performance (p. 64), the same effect as
the damper pedal will be applied to the left-hand
keyboard area.
Pedal EX
If you have a Layer tone (p. 61) selected, the original tone
is played whenever the pedal is not being pressed as you
perform.
When you perform while pressing the pedal, an layer tone
is played together with the original tone.
The volume of the layer tone is adjusted according to how
much you press the pedal.
Example: When “Piano + Choir1” are selected
• Playing the keyboard without pressing the pedal
Only the piano tone is played.
• Playing the keyboard while pressing the pedal
When the pedal is not pressed, only the piano tone is
played, while the choir tone gradually comes in as the
pedal is pressed. The volume of the choir1 tone is
adjusted according to how much you press the pedal.
