Recording and Saving
Here’s how to record a performance that you play along with an internal song or SMF music data from
USB memory or a CD-ROM.
The song being played will be recorded together with your keyboard performance.

Preparations
1.
Select a song (p. 70, p. 72, p. 76).
If you want to record along with a song from CD-ROM, insert the CD-ROM into the CD drive (p. 72).
If you want to record along with a song from USB memory, connect the USB memory (p. 76).
2.
Select the sound that you want to play (p. 44).
Use the tone select buttons and the touch panel to select the desired sound.

Use TEMPO [SLOW] [FAST] buttons to specify the tempo for recording.
The tempo of the recorded performance is stored as the tempo of the song you selected
when recording. If you’re recording your performance along with a song, it will be recorded
with the time signature of that song.
Start recording
4.
Press the [REC] button.
The following screen appears.

* If you decide not to record, touch < Cancel >.
When you press the [REC] button, the “Play mode” (p. 173) will automatically be set to “One
Song.”
