DVD volume is too low (or
inaudible)

Is the DVD player connected correctly?

Could the DVD PLAYER INPUT [VOLUME] knob be turned to the minimum
position?
The DVD player’s volume is adjusted with the [DVD INPUT] knob; not by
the [VOLUME] knob.

Portable audio player’s
volume is too low (or
inaudible)

position?
The portable audio player’s volume is adjusted with the [AUDIO/VIDEO

Set the type appropriately for the CD that you want to play.

Beam controller does not
produce a sound

Could the D Beam button for the desired sound effect be lit green?
If a D Beam button is lit red, moving your hand above the D Beam
controller will apply an effect to the sound you play from the keyboard.

Not all the notes you play are
sounded

The maximum simultaneous polyphony is 128 notes. If you are playing
along with a song and making heavy use of the damper pedal, the
number of notes the RK-300 is attempting to produce may exceed the
maximum polyphony, meaning that some of the notes will drop out.

selected when you press the
[1], [2], or [3] button

INSTRUMENT buttons [1] [2] [3] also operate as buttons that select
“Recommended Tones” or “User Tones.”
If you select the tab in the main screen, these buttons are
automatically assigned instrumental sounds that are appropriate for the
song. You can press instrument buttons [1] [2] [3] to select these
recommended tones.
If you select the tab in the main screen, you can assign your own
choice of sounds to these buttons.
