Cooling • Provided by the Media Gateway or Media
Gateway Expander.
Connectors
(front) • The PC Card slot can be used to deliver software
or for additional storage.
• The maintenance port provides access to the card
for OA&M purposes.
• This port cannot be used for installation.
• This port does not display bootup messages and
the user cannot change boot parameters using
this port.
Connectors
(back) • The Shielded 50-pin to Serial/ELAN/TLAN
adapter provides connections to the card through
the connector labelled Card 1, Card 2, Card 3, or
Card 4 that corresponds to the card location.
• See Figure 28 on page 113 .
• Only this port can be used for installation.
• The user can change boot parameters at the time
of bootup using this port.
