Configure IP address for the Terminal Server
Note: The IP address can be configured or changed only from the local
Management/ DIAG port.
1 Configure the Terminal Server’s IP address:
InReach:0 >>config interface 1 address
2 Configure the Terminal Server’s IP subnet mask:
InReach:0 >>config interface 1 mask
3 Configure the Terminal Server’s IP primary gateway address:
InReach:0 >>config gateway
4 Save the configuration and check it:
InReach:0 >>save config flash
InReach:0 >>show system chara
InReach:0 >>show interface1 chara
Example commands:
InReach:0 >>config interface 1 address 47.11.244.101
InReach:0 >>config interface 1 mask 255.255.255.0
InReach:0 >>config gateway 47.11.244.101
