Configuring Domain Name
You can use this panel to change the configuration parameters for the domain
names that can be appended to incomplete host names (i.e., host names passed
from a client that are not formatted with dotted notation). You can also use this
screen to display the contents of the table.
Configurable Data
Domain - Specifies all the existing domain names along with an additional option "Create". When the
user selects "Create" another text box "Domain Name" appears where the user may enter domain
name to be configured.
Domain Name - Specifies the domain name. Do not include the initial period that separates an
unqualified name from the domain name. This is a text string of up to 64 characters.
Command Buttons
Submit - Sends the updated configuration to the switch. Configuration changes take effect
immediately.
Delete - Deletes the domain name entry. Sends the updated configuration to the switch. Configuration
changes take effect immediately.
Delete All - Deletes all the domain name entries. Sends the updated configuration to the switch.
Configuration changes take effect immediately.
