Viewing GARP Information Page

This screen shows the GARP Status for the switch and for the individual ports. Note that the
timers are only relevant when the status for a port shows as enabled.

Non-Configurable Data

Switch GVRP - Indicates whether the GARP VLAN Registration Protocol administrative mode for this
switch is enabled or disabled. The factory default is disabled.

Switch GMRP - Indicates whether the GARP Multicast Registration Protocol administrative mode for this
switch, enabled or disabled. The factory default is disabled.

Slot/Port - Slot/Port of the interface.

Port GVRP Mode - Indicates whether the GVRP administrative mode for the port is enabled or disabled.
The factory default is disabled.

Port GMRP Mode - Indicates whether the GMRP administrative mode for the port is enabled or disabled.
The factory default is disabled.

Join Time (centiseconds) - Specifies the time between the transmission of GARP PDUs registering (or
re-registering) membership for a VLAN or multicast group in centiseconds. An instance of this timer
exists for each GARP participant for each port. Permissible values are 10 to 100 centiseconds (0.1 to 1.0
seconds). The factory default is 20 centiseconds (0.2 seconds).

Leave Time (centiseconds) - Specifies the time to wait after receiving an unregister request for a VLAN
or multicast group before deleting the associated entry, in centiseconds. This allows time for another
station to assert registration for the same attribute in order to maintain uninterrupted service. An instance
of this timer exists for each GARP participant for each port. Permissible values are 20 to 600
centiseconds (0.2 to 6.0 seconds). The factory default is 60 centiseconds (0.6 seconds).

Leave All Time (centiseconds) -This Leave All Time controls how frequently LeaveAll PDUs are
generated. A LeaveAll PDU indicates that all registrations will shortly be deregistered. Participants will
need to rejoin in order to maintain registration. An instance of this timer exists for each GARP participant
for each port. The Leave All Period Timer is set to a random value in the range of LeaveAllTime to
