Methods
The IQS-12004B DWDM Passive Component Test System performs a series
of measurements and uses them in automated calculations. The different
definitions and calculation methods used are explained in the following
subsections.
The DWDM Passive Component Test System can automatically analyze
three different filter types:

Depending on the mode of operation (Specified or Generic), the user may
specify the filter type (Specified) or the system will attempt to auto-detect
the filter type (Generic).
