GPIB Error Messages Format

System-and device-specific errors are managed by the IQS-12004B GPIB
application. The generic format for error messages is illustrated below.

As shown in the above figure, the message is a string that contains two
parts:

Error description

All error messages are stacked in an application buffer. Use the command
STAT:ERR? to read the most recent message.

The error message buffer is initialized when starting the IQS-12004B GPIB
application or when executing the *CLS command.
