4.4. Remove the steering cylinder and mounting
bracket.
NOTE: The hydraulic steering hoses are still
hooked up to the steering cylinder. Do not
remove them.
4.5. Pivot the steering cylinder rearward and secure
it to the frame, using a cable tie. See Figure 4.5.
5. RIGHT FINAL DRIVE ASSEMBLY AND TIE
ROD:
5.1. Remove all four hex bolts securing the right final
drive’s pinion gear housing assembly to the right
axle housing assembly using a 14mm socket.
See Figure 5.1.
5.2. Remove the right final drive assembly and tie
rod assembly from the tractor, and place it into a
suitable drain container. See Figure 5.2.
NOTE: A brass drift and hammer may be
needed for removal.
5.3. Remove the right final pinion gear from the right
differential shaft. See Figure 5.3.
5.4. Remove the o-ring from the right differential
housing.
