12.9. Pivot the fuel tank forward and down to the
ground. See Figure 12.9.
NOTE: The fuel supply line and return line are
still hooked up at this time.
12.10. Loosen the hose clamps securing the fuel supply
line and fuel return line to the fuel tank inlet and
outlet using a pair of pliers.
12.11. Close the fuel lines off with fuel line clamps.
12.12. Remove the fuel supply line and fuel return line.
13. LOWER ROPS ASSEMBLY:
13.1. Remove all eight hex cap screws securing the
lower ROPS assembly to the transmission using
a 3/4” socket and wrench. See Figure 13.1.
NOTE: Loctite™ the threads and torque them
between 360 and 420 In. Lbs. during assembly.
14. JACK STAND PLACEMENT:
14.1. Raise the rear of the tractor until the wheel
assemblies are off the ground using a floor jack.
See Figure 14.1.
14.2. Place two small jack stands under the center
housing of the transmission.
14.3. Raise both small jack stands until they are as
close to the bottom of the transmission as possi-
ble, keeping them even with one-another.
14.4. Slowly lower the floor jack until the transmission
is resting on both small jack stands.
14.5. Remove all six lug bolts securing the right and
left rear wheel assemblies to the axle hubs using
a 13/16” socket. See Figure 14.5.
14.6. Remove both rear wheel assemblies.
