25.16. Remove the two speed actuator shaft’s oil seal
using a flat-blade screwdriver. See Figure 25.16.
NOTE: Install the oil seal after the two speed
actuator shaft is installed during assembly.
25.17. Inspect the hydraulic oil filter nipple. See Figure
25.17.
NOTE: If the transmission housing is going to be
replaced, a new filter nipple will be required.

25.18. Clean the transmission housing using a cleaning
pad, scraper and contact cleaner. See Figure
25.18.
NOTE: The transmission housing should be
blown out with high pressure air prior to assem-
bly.

LEFT AND RIGHT AXLE ASSEMBLY INSPECTION:
26.1. Remove both flat washers and thrust bearing
from the left axle stub shaft. See Figure 26.1.
