32.5. Remove the neutral adjustment shoulder screw,
flat washers and hex flange lock nut from the
right transmission mounting bracket using a
9/16” wrench and a 3/4” wrench. See Figure
32.5.
NOTE: This shoulder screw will change the neu-
tral control adjustment. Neutral control adjust-
ment must be performed prior to operating the
tractor. See Image Below.
32.6. Secure the hydrostatic transmission pump.

32.7. Remove all four long hex cap screws securing
the hydrostatic transmission pump and long
spacers to the transmission housing using a 1/2”
socket. See Figure 32.7.
NOTE: The long spacers will drop out. Loctite™
the threads and torque them between 160 and
220 In. Lbs during assembly.
32.8. Remove the hydrostatic transmission pump and
o-ring from the transmission housing.
32.9. Place the hydrostatic transmission pump in a
suitable drain container.
32.10. Remove the o-ring.
NOTE: Replace the o-ring during installation.
