9.7. Remove the hairpin securing the brake rod fer-
rule to the brake link assembly using needle
nose pliers. See Figure 9.7.
9.8. Remove the brake rod ferrule from the brake link
assembly.
9.9. Remove the hex lock nut securing the flat
washer and brake link assembly to the brake
shaft assembly using a 3/4” socket.
9.10. Pull the brake link assembly outward until it piv-
ots freely.
NOTE: A large brass drift punch and hammer
may be needed to move the link outward.
9.11. Raise the rear portion of the fender assembly
and push the seat safety switch wiring harness
and connector down through it.
9.12. Remove the wiring harness connector from the
PTO reverse override switch.
9.13. Remove the fender assembly from the tractor.
9.14. Install the fuel cap.
10. THREE POINT HITCH:
10.1. Remove the hairpin clips securing the double
clevis pins in position using needle nose pliers.
See Figure 10.1.
10.2. Remove the Klik Pins securing the right and left
lift links to the upper hitch arms.
10.3. Remove the three point hitch assembly.
11. DRAWBAR:
11.1. Remove the hairpin and clevis pin securing the
drawbar to the drawbar bracket. See Figure
11.1.
11.2. Remove the drawbar.
