14. INPUT SHAFT AND PTO ASSEMBLY:
14.1. Insert a 5/8” socket into the front input shaft’s oil
seal until it contacts the input shaft. See Figure
14.1.
14.2. Place a 5” deep throat bar clamp over the entire
input shaft and PTO assembly.
14.3. Tighten the bar clamp, removing the compres-
sion spring tension from the middle internal
retaining ring.
14.4. Clean the PTO clutch assembly with alcohol.
14.5. Secure the PTO clutch assembly together using
duct tape. See Figure 14.5.

14.6. Remove the middle internal retaining ring using
medium tip, 45° retaining ring pliers. See Figure
14.6.
14.7. Remove the 5” deep throat bar clamp and 5/8”
socket.
14.8. Remove the rear spacer from the back of the
PTO clutch assembly. See Figure 14.8.
