21.18. Remove the engine mounting bracket from the
engine stand and secure it to the engine block
using the 7264 Factory School hardware and
large washers. See Figure 21.18.
NOTE: The 7264 Factory School engine stand
mounting hardware includes three M8 x 1.25 x
30mm hex screws and three .40” x .10” x 1.135”
washers. This hardware can be purchased in
your local area hardware store.
21.19. Lower the engine down until the engine stand
can be slid over the engine stand mounting
bracket. See Figure 21.19.
21.20. Secure the engine stand to the engine stand
mounting bracket using the securing pin.
21.21. Place a suitable drain container below the
engine.
NOTE: The engine may leak coolant from the
water pump area, and possibly engine oil
through the crankshaft thread bores.
21.22. Lower the engine and engine stand to the
ground.
21.23. Remove the over-head lifting straps. See Figure
21.23.
