22. LIFT VALVE AND POSITION CONTROL:
22.1. Loosen the cylinder return tube connector and
the lift return tube connector at the hydraulic lift
valve using a 9/16” wrench and an 11/16”
wrench. See Figure 22.1.
22.2. Remove the cylinder return tube connector from
the 90° fitting on top of the transmission housing
cover using 9/16” wrench and an 11/16” wrench.
22.3. Remove the lift return tube connector from the
return manifold using a 9/16” wrench and an
11/16” wrench.
22.4. Cap the 90° fitting and the return manifold.
22.5. Remove the lift inlet hose connector from the 90°
fitting, at the hydraulic lift valve, using a 9/16”
wrench and a 3/4” wrench. See Figure 22.5.
22.6. Cap the connector and the lift valve.
22.7. Remove the hex cap screws securing the feed-
back plate to the upper right hitch arm using a
7/16” socket and a 9/16” socket. See Figure
22.7.
NOTE: Loctite™ the threads and torque them
between 90 and 120 In. Lbs. during assembly.
22.8. Remove the hairpin and flat washer securing the
HI-LO control rod to the HI-LO shifter hub
assembly. See Figure 22.8.
