24. PTO HANDLE AND CONTROL ROD:
24.1. Remove the hairpin securing the flat washer,
flange bearing and PTO control rod ferrule to the
PTO select arm using a needle nose pliers. See
Figure 24.1.
24.2. Remove the shoulder screw securing the wave
washer, flat spacer washer, nylon bearing and
PTO handle assembly to the transmission hous-
ing using 3/4” socket. See Figure 24.2.
NOTE: Loctite™ the threads and torque them
between 160 and 200 In. Lbs. during assembly.
24.3. Remove the PTO handle and control rod.
25. DIFFERENTIAL SHAFT, BRACKET AND CON-
TROL ROD:
25.1. Remove the hairpin securing the differential con-
trol rod to the pivot link using needle nose pliers.
See Figure 25.1.
25.2. Remove the hairpin securing the flange bearings
and differential shaft assembly in position. See
Figure 25.2.
