21.5. Cap the 90° fitting and open connector.
21.6. Drain the hydraulic lift cylinder into the oil drain
pan.
21.7. Remove the snap ring securing the lift pin in
position using snap ring pliers. See Figure 21.7.
21.8. Secure the right upper hitch arm and lift cylinder
in position.
21.9. Remove the lift pin securing the lift cylinder to
the right upper hitch arm. See Figure 21.9.

21.10. Remove all three hex cap screws and both flat
washers securing the lift cylinder bracket to the
transmission housing and axle housing using a
15/16” wrench and a 3/4” wrench. See Figure
21.10.
NOTE: Both flat washers are located between
the transmission housing and the lift cylinder
bracket. Loctite™ the hex screw threads and
torque them between 360 and 420 In. Lbs. dur-
ing assembly.
21.11. Remove the cylinder assembly, lower right hitch
bracket and hydraulic hose. See Figure 21.11.
