9.2.

Remove all four hex cap screws and flat wash-
ers securing the rear portion of the fender
assembly to the lower ROPS assembly using a
1/2” socket. See Figure 9.2.

NOTE: Loctite™ the threads and torque them
between 160 and 200 In. Lbs. during assembly

9.3.

Remove the diesel fuel cap. See Figure 9.3.

9.4.

Cap the fuel tank inlet with a cloth and a rubber
band. See Figure 9.4.

9.5.

Remove the hex lock nut securing the flat
washer and forward/reverse pedal link assembly
to the forward/reverse shaft assembly using a
3/4” socket. See Figure 9.5.

NOTE: Loctite™ the threads during assembly

9.6.

Pull the forward/reverse pedal link assembly out-
ward until it pivots freely.

NOTE: A large brass drift punch and hammer
may be needed to move the link outward.
