14.20. Remove the PTO clutch wires from the transmis-
sion housing using a sharp knife. See Figure
14.20.
14.21. Secure the PTO clutch assembly.
14.22. Remove all six round head screws securing the
PTO clutch assembly to the transmission hous-
ing using a 4mm Allen wrench. See Figure
14.22.
NOTE: Loctite™ the threads and torque them to
100 In. Lbs. during assembly.
14.23. Remove the PTO clutch from the transmission
housing.
14.24. Slide the input shaft assembly into the transmis-
sion housing. See Figure 14.24.
14.25. Remove the 28T auxiliary drive pinion gear and
retaining ring from the input shaft.
NOTE: The 28T auxiliary drive pinion gear hub
faces the front of the transmission.
14.26. Remove the compression spring from the input
shaft. See Figure 14.26.
14.27. Remove the input shaft, retaining ring and rear
ball bearing from the transmission housing
through the front ball bearing bore.
