10. Disconnect the wires from the reverse safety switch.
See Figure 5.75.
10a. Unplug the yellow w/black trace wire.
10b. Remove the bolt that holds the green ground
wire using a 3/8” wrench.
11. Disconnect the drive control rod from the trunnion
arm of the hydro. See Figure 5.76.
12. Disconnect the spring at the end of the bypass rod
rod from the bypass arm on the transaxle. See Figure
5.77.
NOTE: The closed end of the spring hooks downward into
the rod.
13. Support the transaxle so that it can be lowered out of
the tractor in a controlled fashion.
