(4) Internal battery
The internal battery is the battery for backing up the RTC (Real
Time Clock). It also give timing signals for timesharing operation.
The battery is seated on the motherboard.

(5) Memory slots
Used to mount up to 6 memory modules to expand the server’s
RAM (Random Access Memory).
See “Memory module” on page 75.
(6) Expansion slots
Used to mount expansion cards. The motherboard has a total of
6 expansion slots: four 64 bit/100MHz PCI-X slots and two
32 bit/33MHz PCI slots. The PCI slots are compliant with PCI-
X 1.0a(PCI-X slots only) and PCI 2.2 standards.

(7) HDBP board
Used to supply electric power to hard disk drives, etc.
