NOTE: In order to use the Hyper-Threading function, it is
required that OS supports the Hyper-Threading function.
In order to use Hyper-Threading function on Windows Server
2003 / Windows 2000, the OS must have been installed with
this setting "Enabled". With one CPU configuration, If the OS
was installed with the setting "Disabled", the Hyper-Threading
function cannot be used even if set to "Enabled" after install-
ing the OS.

When this option is enabled , the number of CPUs displayed
by ”System Information” (in WIndows Server 2003) or ”Sys-
tem Summary” (in WIndows 2000) is twice the actual number
of CPUs (i.e., ” 2” is displayed when 1 CPU is attached, ” 4” is
displayed when 2 CPUs are attached).

This is because the Hyper-Threading function causes Win-
dows Server 2003/Windows 2000 to detect one physical
CPU as two logical CPUs.

Use HarnessEye/web to check the actual number of CPUs
installed.
See "HarnessEye/web User's Guide" on this "Server Setup
TooL- and Documentation CD".
